SEAWALLS

With the ever changing shorelines of Northern Michigan, a seawall, also called a retaining wall, can prevent the damage done by seasonal variations in water level, flooding and tidal erosion. Shore conditions help determine the type of seawall construction and materials used.

TYPES OF SEAWALLS

VINYL SEAWALLS

Vinyl Seawalls are made with ESP or CMI products that are long-lasting, lightweight, and efficient. They offer strong and reliable protection against shoreline erosion.
We offer a variety of colors and profiles such as corrugated, flat panel and more.

ROCK SEAWALLS

Rock Seawalls are constructed granite or limestone boulders which are smooth, rounded, glacially deposited multi-colored, and available in several sizes. They are used in landscaping for boulder retaining walls, and provide a natural look to enhance and preserve your shoreline.

STEEL SEAWALLS

Steel Seawalls, or sheet piling is a form of drive piling using interlocking sheets of steel to obtain a continuous barrier in the ground. Its main application is in retaining walls and is a strong and lasting choice.

WOOD SEAWALLS

Wood Seawalls are a very popular choice with many of our customers. Using marine-grade treated material, wood seawalls provide a natural appearance and depending on the environment, will provide many years of service.
